Educational scope
SimAWS is an independent, free teaching tool from ShahriarLabs. It models selected cloud behaviors. It is not a production cloud, AWS service, complete API emulator, official certification course or guarantee of an exam outcome.
Using a local sandbox
Practice resources and progress live in your browser. No charges accrue on an actual AWS account because the simulator does not call AWS. Use synthetic data. Do not enter actual cloud credentials, passwords or confidential information.
Supported behavior and limitations
Capability labels distinguish explanations, concept experiments and implemented consoles. AWS can change its APIs, limits and prices. Refer to current official documentation for real deployments. Our models omit behaviors such as actual networking, service quotas, some policy types and real billing.
Data and availability
Browser storage can be cleared or fail. Export practice data you want to retain. The platform may change as we fix and expand the models. Read the privacy page for local storage and external services.
Content and corrections
Questions are original practice scenarios. We welcome corrections and topic suggestions through contact and feedback. The source repository contains its applicable code license; this page does not change that license.
